Service Information

The following should be observed by private customers from non-EU countries when sending in a older defective camera to the PENTACON Service:

1. Send in a reflex camera with lens.

2. Send the camera by mail only.
The use of a courier service such as UPS, DHL or FedEx will incur additional customs clearance costs for the customer to the amount of DM (Deutsche Mark) 100.00, approx.

3. State the value of the defective camera including lens with maximum DM 40.00, if possible, because customs clearance is uncomplicated to this amount in Germany.

4. The payment must take place exclusively via transfer as advance payment. Cheques are not accepted.

Informaci�n del servicio postventa:

Por medio de la presente rogamos a nuestros clientes particulares fuera del territorio de la Uni�n Europea que observen las indicaciones dadas a continuaci�n al enviar al departamento de servicio postventa de PENTACON una c�mara defectuosa fabricada ya hace tiempo:

1. Una c�mara reflex debe enviarse siempre junto con el objetivo.

2. Les rogamos nos env�en el aparato exclusivamente por correo.
Al recurrir a un servicio de mensajer�a, como UPS, DHL o FedEx, resultar�n pare el cliente gastos de aduana adicionales por valor de aprox. 100,- DM (marcos alemanes).

3. Les recomendamos indicar el valor del aparato defectuoso (c�mara y objetivo) en lo posible con 40,- DM como m�ximo, dado que hasta dicho valor los tr�mites aduaneros en Alemania son menos complicados.

4. El pago deber� ser efectuado exclusivamente a trav�s de transferencia bancaria en calidad de pago por anticipado. No se aceptan cheques.
